Hi, this is a great looking and sounding Technics SA-GX550 New Class A Receiver with Remote. It was quality built in Japan in 1993. It weighs 23.8 pounds, puts out 65 watts of power per channel, and has a maximum of only 0.05% thd (total harmonic distortion). It has been cleaned inside and out so no scratchy/noisy controls.
It has a great ease of operation with all of the controls and functions on the front. It has Bass, Treble, and Balance knobs, as well as a headphones jack. This great receiver has a built in AM/FM tuner, as well as a Phono amp for your turntable.
It has RCAs for CD, Tape, VCR1, VCR2/Aux, Phono, and TV Monitor Video. It is ready to be connected to some speakers. The reason I am only asking $15 for this receiver and remote, is that when the volume is cranked up loud, past normal listening volume, sometimes the fan does not start and you have to turn the unit off to restart it.
